John J. Wernert, M.D., M.H.A

Dr. Wernert is President of PDA and the Medical Director of the Professional Wellness Program. He has extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of professionals. His areas of expertise are in evaluating and treating individuals who struggle with professional misconduct, midlife burnout, disruptive behavior, or struggle with the disease of addiction. As a cognitive specialist and Board certified psychiatrist, Dr. Wernert integrates a diverse skill-set of context-based psychotherapeutic techniques with evidence-based psychopharmacology. He has helped a vast number of professionals gain insight into their difficulties, resolve complex behavioral problems, and create more balance in their lives. Dr. Wernert brings his experience in psychodynamic psychiatry, behavioral science, positive life changes, and cognitive enhancement to each consultation.

Following his medical education at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Dr. Wernert completed an internship and residency training at the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry. In addition to Board certifications in adult and Geriatric psychiatry, Dr. Wernert has obtained a Masters degree in Health Administration from Indiana University, and is a Certified Physician Executive with the American College of Physician Executives. Over the course of 20 years, Dr. Wernert has functioned as a staff psychiatrist and medical director of clinical programs at four Hospital systems in central Indiana. John is a consultant to numerous organizations, including the seminarian screening program for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology.

Dr. Wernert has presented at numerous conferences on matters related to professional functioning, medical staff performance, cognitive enhancement and self-development in later life maturation. He is particularly interested in professional development and processes to foster reflection and behavioral change in the workplace.

Gregory Sipes Ph.D.

Dr. Greg Sipes is a clinical psychologist and senior partner of Indiana Health Group, Inc. Greg has a B.A. in psychology from Spring Arbor University and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wyoming. He completed his residency in clinical psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at the Indiana University School of Medicine. In 2007, he received an honorary Doctorate of Science from his alma mater. 

He has served as a full time faculty member with IU School of Medicine. He also served as a hostage negotiation and criminal profiling consultant and police psychologist with the Indianapolis Police Department. He has consulted with a wide variety of businesses and organizations on many workplace issues.    

He has authored or co-authored seven books and numerous professional and business articles. He has a weekly WXIN/Fox59 segment, “Straight Talk with Dr. Sipes” and is a regular guest on several radio shows. His web site is www.drgregsipes.com.
